Rue de la dîme

Rue de la dîme
This name refers to an old tax that peasants had to give to the clergy at Middle Ages.It was a rough tax and in memory many villages still have a "rue de la dîme" wich represents the place where the peasants had to come and give the tax.

On wednesday morning, I went in the village . It was really beautiful with that thin layer of frost and the sun ! I had a walk along the Seine then rue Claude Monet and Clos Peter Edge. along the Seine Clos Peter Edge Rue Claude Monet, Hôtel Baudy
